Grown with the Moon
Nineteen acres, organic for generations. We sow, tend and harvest by the lunar cycle, and keep the land as quiet as we found it.

3,500 maple trees, tapped as the sap rises.
Grown slowly on hardwood logs outdoors.
Organic orchards, old trees.
Wild-simulated, under the canopy.
From the farm's own bees.
Chickens, goats, llamas, sheep, a donkey, a horse, dogs, cats and more.
Biodynamic soil, organic seed from our own bank, and timing set by the phase. Tonight's phase comes from our astrology engine.
We choose tools and materials that come from the earth and return to it: copper tools in the garden, clay and wood in the buildings, natural fibre in place of plastic. They are chosen to keep the land's field undisturbed, part of how we practice, not a claim we ask you to take on faith.
The land was a collaboration between Ingrid and Vayu. It came up at auction after the landowner died and the family took over the farm; they were excited for us to buy it and keep its natural beauty.
We were the top bidder when something odd happened: just as the auction was about to end, the auctioneer called a break. After it, the auctioneer's friend, known as the town bully, appeared and began outbidding us by tens of thousands of dollars. He wanted to demolish the farm and turn it into a junkyard for cars.
Ingrid was ready to stop. Vayu stepped in and kept bidding, and, long story short, here we are today, keeping the natural beauty of this land.
Mushrooms grown outside, on logs
Most mushrooms sold today are grown indoors under LED lights. On Ingrid's farm they are grown the original way: outside, organically, on tree logs.
Ingrid's family has farmed this land organically for generations; we bought it together to keep it a farm. Come and volunteer.
On our flagship land, gardens grow from our own organic seed, timed to the Moon, for raw plant-based food.
